Unfortunate, came for a blow dry. Booked ahead. After arrival reception said sorry they are 30min late. Wasnt busy at all. Lady was nice enough to find me someone. However simple blow dry was dissaster. I had an important event and explained it needs a lot of volume and last. My hair is great and i never had a problem with hairdry as i have a loy of hair. She decided not to blow dry my hair but use curler. Which i can do myself. After finished it looked so flat and bad. No big lose waves just some strange mess. I had so much products in my hair it was oily 5min after i walked out. She also added water into my hair after all the products to try to add volume. My hair looked worse. I got charged 40 pounds. The girl tried she was nice. i just can not believe in tony and guy which i used in Islington this one is so bad. If they cant do blow dry i would not trust them with colour or cut. Shame as i just moved to the area.

I had a fantastic appointment with Bradley in Richmond recently where I felt completely relaxed and came out with beautiful bouncy waves from my blow dry! I would definitely recommend anyone go there for a bit of pampering!

Top marks to Louise and Sean (stylist) who did my Brazilian keratin treatment and dry cut. My hair was frizzy and dry and now it is smooth, sleek and so much more manageable. They used the Keraplex system which is better than any other keratin treatment I’ve had in the past.

Rude staff. After my experience here I’m not surprised this is the only Toni and Guy salon lacking customers. I’ve been a client of Toni and Guy for many years and loved the quality of service and the professional environment, that’s why I’m shocked by the rudeness of the staff at the reception at this Richmond branch, not even once but twice. I recently moved into the area from East London and I was looking for my local Toni and Guy. I pop-in asking for a consultation (as they can’t be booked but on a walk-in based only) and the lady behind the desk said there was no one who could do it and I’d have to go back in 3/4 hours. The salon was empty. It was 11 am and there were no clients but 3 staff members. It seemed odd to me, no clients at all. I had to go back for the consultation the following day. Charlie was very nice explaining the job to be done on my hair and I book an appointment with her. I am clearly and heavily pregnant and one of the questions I had it was regarding the safety of the treatment whilst expecting a baby, making the staff aware of my situation. Three days ago, the day before my appointment I had a minor accident and as soon as I understand I won’t be able to attend my hair appointment I called the salon to reschedule. The lady over the phone was EXTREMELY rude for no reason. I’ve asked to move my appointment a week later as I am 8 months pregnant and it wasn’t safe for me leave home the following day. She started talking about their cancellation policy which allows 24 hours free of charge, but as I called 22 hours before my appointment I’d have to pay a penalty fare? I let her notice I was kindly asking to reschedule my appointment because of my condition, and that this cancellation policy wasn’t anywhere nor I ever heard of in many years being a Toni and Guy client. Then she started using a patronising voice saying they wouldn’t charge me this time, but to reschedule the appointment I’d have to provide her my card details to charge me in case I’ll cancel again. What?! Is this how you treat a new client? I feel sorry for Charlie who did my consultation but I won’t take another step ever again into that salon. I was refused a consultation first and then a threat of a cancellation fee just because a pregnant lady rescheduled 22 hours before the appointment instead of 24 hours. It’s ridiculous Toni and Guy is associated with this poor level of respect, lack of professionalism and appalling customer service.

I've been a client here for 3 years and have always found the staff professional, friendly, extremely capable and creative. Over the years, even when staff has changed, the quality of service and personal attention has been absolutely consistent. I'd recommend without reservation.
