Nice place very good service

Shocking availability. My father is 94, his wife died 3 weeks ago. He is deaf, has mobility issues and no transport. I have been ringing the local bank on and off for over a week to book an appointment. I only ever get a recorded message saying that they can't take the call, to 'pop in' if we are nearby or call back later. I needed to be certain that someone would be available to advise him on his account so wanted an appointment. Disgusted!

An excellent bank with first-class customer service. Can't praise it too highly!

Shocking service dealing with my late fathers affairs....still not concluded. £50 compensation.....It's not about the money!!!

Staff would do

Blamed me for putting money in the deposit machine wrong, it swallowed my cash and wasn’t working properly. While waiting for whatever her name was to finish her long phone call another customer in the bank told me the machine had just done the same to them. Yet the staff hadn’t bothered to put an out of order sign on the machine. Then proceeds to tell me I’d not put the notes in right lol. Ok hun, I already know from someone else now it was dodgy before I touched it but whatever makes you feel better. Wasted my time, took ages to sort it and no apology.

I would like the Manager of TSB on Parliament Street, York to know what amazing service I had this morning from the assistant called Liam. I have been trying to get back into my account for days & did not have any luck with calls on line. Liam was so patient & kind, he realised I was not putting the new info in fast enough, With only having 5 minutes to change everything so he kindly put in the things he was allowed to so I could just add the private part. Service like that does not come often, Pat on the back Liam. M V Fell

Staff were friendly, polite and couldn't have been more helpful, answering my enquiry straight away. Covid precautions were extensive and clearly indicated on notices; hand sanitiser was provided and spare disposable masks available.
