Yorkshire vets have looked after our pets for years and have always been professional and courteous. We were very grateful for the vet nurse who recommended us taking out pet insurance because later our cat Bernard had developed arthritis and all her treatment and drugs are covered you should Bernard after her acupuncture treatment by Emma she's so relaxed.

Service started off well but then just seemed to be going through the motions with a difficult skin problem on my dog. Never saw the same vet twice and just ended up paying hundreds of pounds on drugs and expensive consultations. Didn't seem to actually care for the pet Moved away now to a different vets who so far are excellent

Worst vets ever. Never see the same vet twice. Extortionate prices and receptionists openly gossip about clients when they have left. Unprofessional and only focused on money not our beloved pets. Moved to a new vets who are amazing!!

Actually went here based on the reviews & I should not have gone at all. Paid for a vaccination treatment, worm and flea and microchipping. Remained in constant contact with them during the day & they were helpful. So it’s been over a week since he had his flea treatment and prior to him going there he had NO FLEAS. My wife did it herself and for weeks my kitten and house had nothing. As soon as he come back from the vets he started getting fleas! Upon ringing them back they advised me to get the house treated and decided to blame me & it’s my fault for it, when we never have had any flea issues over the last 3 months and my kitten stays at home. Thanks a lot for the treatment & also my kitten has a massive lump after the vaccination 2 weeks after. Ridiculous service.

Took my newly adopted kittens Winnie and Shadow for their first visit. The Vet I saw Mike East was very helpful and gave me lots of helpful information. Came out feeling more relaxed and I am on the right track now. My previous cat Summer was looked after by this practice too. Found them excellent

My babies are all looked after by this wonderful vets. I've been so impressed with the way they have worked with me and my pets. Sadly my son can't go with me at the moment due to their post covid rules but he used to love asking the vet questions about his pets. We have a dog and 2 cats

I found a bird in my back garden. It just stood there and didn't move. It let me stroke it. This wasn't right, it wasn't interested in the bread seeds or water i offered it. I called RSPCA and they suggested to call my local vet. Therefore i took the bird here. The staff here took the bird and got me to sign a form for wildlife welfare. I asked if i could call to see how the bird got on. I called shortly after to see how birdie was and the receptionist lady i spoke to wasn't very helpful and said call back after 8pm. I called back after 8 and a did speak to someone helpful, i think she was a Chinese lady. She explained the bird was a young bird and may have been nestling in the grass. It had been flapping its wings but mainly just stood there without movement. The were going to keep an eye on it and hopefully set it free if it made good progress. I suggested i put it back where i found it but never heard back. I'm sure the vets will have given great care and done the best for the bird.

Consultation was fine but they’ll make no consideration to the cost to the customer when prescribing drugs, in my case (with Emma) my cat was given a dose of metacam via IV before then prescribing a 14 day oral course of the same drug. I could have just given the cat the first oral dose when I got home, so that’s £15.24 wasted. I appreciate IV is faster acting but this wasn’t an urgent situation. I mentioned this to the receptionist and was told “that’s the way it is”. If had been given some information about this extra cost in the consultation I could have at least made a decision.
