I am appalled and confused that this post office is still open - or at least employs the same woman. She is obnoxious. Last year I made an official complaint to Post Office Counters because I hobbled in, using my zimmer frame and carrying a large parcel, to find the lights were on, but nobody there. I hobbled back outside after about 5 minutes of shouting, to try and get some attention, only to discover her sitting on "her" bench, telling me they were closed. My complaint was the second made that week! I suggest more should be made - especially if she isn't abiding by official opening hours. Another disgraceful (and practically criminal) thing she did was give me 4 large first class stamps in return for £4, and no change. At the time they cost 96p so I was due 16p back. I challenged her, she said "oh yeah", and gave me my change. OUTRAGEOUS!!

Went there twice on Wednesday where the shop was open however no one was behind the counter. I was told by a woman sitting on a bench outside that the person who works there is on her brake. Between the first and second time I went there was around 1.5 hours. I then went on Saturday to collect my parcel and noticed the the woman sitting on the bench outside was the in fact the person working there. When I asked to collect my parcel she very abruptly said "you will have to wait 5 minutes" her face was also scrunched up and shaking her head. In them 5 minutes she was talking in another language, I am of the opinion that the words she was saying where directed at me. Very snappy and passive aggressive woman, possibly the rudest person I have met upon initial conversation. God knows how she is still employed reading through the other comments. To add, the shop is in a state, filthy, no stock and its absolute carnage behind the counter. The place looks abandoned, would suite being located in Chernobyl. It would be quiet entertaining to see the the shop and the woman on one of them clutter junkie/how clean is your house programs. The woman has the personality of a potato. When I left I wiped my feet as I didn't want to dirty the pavement outside. And to top it all off, my parcel was a pair of trainers what dont even fit me and have to send back!!!!!! Yer my Saturday has been dead sound so far. On a serious note just stay away from her and the shop.

I’m just shocked by reading the review. I wish I could have read the review before I went in the Post office. I think 99% people said enough about the lady. I had similar experience. I have emailed the post office about the lady. They ok ok we will get someone to sort it out. But nothing happened. Seriously someone need to sort this mental lady. I believe her husband should have ran away from her hence shes like a angry bird. I hope she read this comment.

Well, I think they HAVE closed this PO now, as many reviewers have recommended. That woman in there was a shocker. Before Lockdown my main shopping places were Morrisons and the excellent Halal shop across the road, about 5 minutes bus ride away from my home, so sometimes it was just convenient to use this PO for minor business. But it will not be missed. I recall once on the bus home earwigging a conversation between two women, one of whom was bussing to Uxbridge rather than use the Yiewsley PO - because of the woman - and Lord knows, the Uxbridge PO upstairs in WH Smiths is an ordeal on its own. Compare the reviews and comments on this with the reviews and comments on Cowley PO which is about 10 minutes walk north of me, and where they have pleasant people who will do anything to help you.

Incredibly rude staff. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from that shop/post office.

Incredibly rude staff. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from that shop/post office. In December 2015 I went there to buy a new oyster card( 5£) and to top it up ( another 5£). I was charged 10£ and as I was in a hurry to catch my bus, I didn't look at the receipt. On the bus I was charged an emergency Oyster fare as apparently I didn't have any money on it. I thought that must be a mistake and returned to the shop a few days later. I was very polite, tried to explain the problem and showed them my receipt. I have never faced such a rude behaviour from the shop assistant before. "Oh well, you had to look at your receipt at the time. It is your own fault". So apparently it was my fault that they overcharged me and I was naive enough not to suspect it right away. If you go there, just be aware of the potential fraud and be prepared for a terrible customer service. Anyway, I am glad that it was just an oyster card and not a postal package.

I wish I could give ZERO star... As many people said, the Asian lady is very, very rude. She opens and closes whenever she feels like to do so. (For example, few days ago she was not in the shop at 9:15 a.m., took lunch break from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., then had left before 4:30 p.m.) If you are NOT white, never expect her to be nice to you. She will ignore you or treat you like dirt.
