Do not use the Signed For service from here. Your parcel/letter won't reach. Has happened to me twice. Use the Tracked & Signed for service which is better.

The guy working for the post office was really helpful. He was not able to solve my issue but was able to give me more information than "I can't do it". He even took a photo of the error that was an issue and he tried suggesting different solutions etc too. If he solved my issue, this would be 5*s.

Unnecessary unpleasant service. Dropped off 19 parcels (ASOS returns), worth a very large amount of money. The owner of the brunch (he said his name was Nick) was serving me. I had to find 19 barcodes in my phone and accidentally gave him same barcode twice, asking him to check if we’ve already used it. When you’re sending this amount of parcels, it’s not unreasonable to get confused with which code you have used. He rudely reprimanded me, saying that I must be more accurate and not give same codes, as it causes him to print a void label (no bigger than a palm of the hand!) and subsequently cost him money (it must be a few pennies, the label had hardly any text on it). I apologised, and politely asked him if he is not receiving any money for the service he is providing me with. He said that he is receiving the money, but nonetheless, he is not interested in helping me check which labels have already been printed, even though I’ve only made an error twice, and will not print any more labels if I make another mistake. He then suggested that I should go elsewhere, ostensibly chucking me out. I am an extremely polite, calm and collective person. My 18 year old son was with me and helped me to stick the labels on to maximise our efficiency and we took less time than an average customer generally would, despite the huge volume of parcels I had to return, as I had everything prepared and was very organised. Nick did not use any of the the vocabulary I would expect to hear when receiving elementary customer service: ie thank you, please, I’m afraid, could you, etc . He was abrupt, rude, and arrogant. Frankly, I am shocked. I have used this post office for the last 28 years. It used to be run by wonderful gentleman who knew the local community, was always polite, helpful and friendly. This guy is new, and he is not making a good impression on either post office services nor as a member of the local community. I would like to hear back from you please, explaining what measures have been taken to address this utterly unnecessary and unprofessional behaviour. Thank you.

5/ 5

I posted a parcel through Parcelforce from Sudbury Hill post office. Unfortunately, due to the covid situation, there was a massive delay and I needed the parcel returned to me as it would not have reached on time. As I had paid a high price for this delivery, over 60 pounds, I needed to get this money back. After spending most of the morning trying to claim on the Parcelforce website and having their claims phone line closed, I went in to the Sudbury Hill post office to see how I could get my money back, as it was a large amount. They were extremely understanding and helpful and helped me to get my money back much quicker than if I waited through Parcelforce. In business and life, things will go wrong because of things that are out of our control. What matters is how it's dealt with and I greatly appreciate how Sudbury Hill Post Office acted with integrity and really helped me through excellent customer service. 5 stars isn't enough for this level of service and integrity. Thank-you.
