Really nice and friendly staff, the hotel's got a lovely family feel to it. The cooked breakfast was good too. On the down side I would say the room we got was really small for the price we payed in comparison with other hotels we've stayed in on the same trip! There's a lovely big garden which was great in the evenings and ideal for our dog!

Wonderful family run hotel! Everyone was so helpful and eager to offer suggestions during our stay. I had a cosy room with a nice balcony over-looking the quiet garden. Breakfast was also delicious! Easy walking distance to the village for shopping and the beach for strolling. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful second stay at Woodlands. Such a friendly place, well run and very relaxing; especially over a drink in the garden each afternoon whilst reading a book. Lovely room once again with new bathroom suite. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel.

If you want a home away from home hotel, which is spotlessly kept, with lovely family hosts, exceptional food, the most comfortable beds in the world and a short walk to the beach and town, then definitely book to stay here! Two beautiful chocolate labradors and chickens in the garden were wonderful to see each day too. Our children didn't want to go home!

I'll start with the negatives.. I don't do dogs which was a little off putting but that's just me.. and the sink in the bathroom was a little small.. but on the positive side the rest of the hotel was really nice with a nice lounge/bar and gardens with chickens.. And service was excellent.. very helpful and always smiling and polite.. thank you.
