I am very surprised that the rating of Woodland Ave GP is so low. We've been registered with this clinic for almost 10 years, and we are very satisfied with the care we've been offered. Many thanks to all doctors/nurses/staff at Woodland Avenue.

It is really unfortunate that although the doctors are very good the receptionists are extremely rude. You are unable to leave simple messages for a doctor to call you back. Not even sure messages are passed onto the doctors. I would leave if it wasn't for Dr Harris and Dr Ouwusu who are fantastic

Poor service. We had an appointment for baby immunisarion today but it was cancelled. The only date they could give me was September 5th when we are flying out from the country. We clearly mention that month ago. Anyway they said they are short of staff like everytime. They did not help us with anything.

Doctors totally disinterested in helping the patients, just want to get them out as soon as possible! Do not recommend this surgery. Doctor I saw today was impatient and dismissive. Agree with previous reviews - the doctors brush everything off as if it is nothing.

Terrible new reception staff awful service decline in all services only few good doctors remain and yet the staff don't let you book more than 1 appointment whether it's for a baby or toddler. Don't know why staffing was changed let alone the decline in service.

The surgery has now gone to e consult so making direct contact with the practice is suppose to be easier. I have been on the phone for over 40 minutes this morning x 2 occasions waiting to speak to reception. There is no way of knowing how long you are in the que for. I have also called the administration team and left them 3 messages as directed over last 24 hours but no one has called me back. I have completed an econsult form and got an email saying someone will get back to me by 10 th January!!! Sadly the surgery is struggling with the new technology and ability to manage patients request.

The way to get an appointment is to ring at 8 o'clock, but I have never been able to get through. Why can't I ring at any time of the day to request an appointment? Not to mention test results where it says "need to speak to doctor".. I have never managed to speak to one or be contacted by one. This system is a joke, you are not providing patients with a good service which we are all entitled to have. We pay our taxes to support the NHS, so all surgeries should put the patients first and deliver a top-notch service. Also, if I can see a nurse face to face, why can't I see a doctor? Ridiculous and annoying system, it is not working so fix it!

Not sure about all the bad reviews but I have been with this surgery for years and I've always had a great experience , called on Monday at 8AM sharp and received a telephone consultation the same day , all the staff were polite and helpful! Think everyone needs to be mindful that they are very busy and doing their best !

Abysmal waiting times on phone to get connected. Have waited over 90 minutes to connect for an appointment. Today called at exactly 8am when lines open. Waited over an hour on the phone to be told appointments had gone. 14 people in front of me only. Don't bother if you need consistent care and access for your disabled family members. Been with them for years and are not worth it. Too many mistakes and internal miscommunications.

Easier to go walking in center then to get an appointment at this Surgery. Waiting for someone to answer the phone excruciating painful. I understand they might be short staffed however they should not take on any more patients if they are unable to cope with the clients they already have. Should have stayed with the previous GP, only changed as I moved houses.
