We called this company for a quote along with 5 others , after an initial problem with the original quote I have to say in all honesty that we cancelled. After a call and discussion with the director we initiated work to commence I am so glad we did because starting with customer service and through the work to completion I have to say they have probably been one of the best companies / tradesmen I have used The guys installing our patio doors were professional , friendly and extremely tidy workers , the job did double in time to their initial advice but I think this was due to the job plus the conscientiousness of the installers Superb and wouldn’t hesitate to now recommend

All seemed well with our visit from their salesman Jamie. The door itself is great, but that’s a given when you buy from Solidor. However, the day of the installation, whilst the fitters have nicely fitted the door, they left our hallway in a mess so we spent quite a while hovering up and cleaning after them, they irresponsibly left a crowbar in our neighbour’s garden, they left a bucket in our front garden, and they took off our door alarm sensors but failed to replace them. Despite the salesman Jamie reassuring us that the fitters would refit our sensors for us. My partner and I later called a few times to tell them this and ask them to come out and replace these sensors, but they were just not interested and didn’t see any problem with the service they’d provided. It’s safe to say we will never ask for future work from this company and when people ask us where our door came from (some already have) we’ll happily say it’s a Solidor but we will be telling people to avoid this company. We expected so much more from them given how much they charged. Such a shame. Kate & Tom

This company will not give replacement date for misted panels - I've now waited over three months since order was placed - polite requests (provable by recording of phone calls) for an installation date are TOTALLY IGNORED. I wish someone had told me what I'm telling others "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE" before I'd signed their one sided agreement: They can cancel - but the customer can't (without massive penalty). My Purchase Order Number is AB10225 (lest their semi literate answerer of reviews, elsewhere, thinks this one is FAKE). ADDED BY EDIT: The response, below, from the owner says it all - they don't even apologise for wasting three months of my time TOTALLY ignoring my polite phone calls, regarding when they were going to install the panels I ordered - it took negative TRUTHFUL reviews to get any action. I have PROOF this company's employees LIE - I was told a few hours before their response (below), that the panels which I ordered over 3 months ago would be ordered from the manufacturers by them and I would be phoned in the afternoon (I thought to give an installation date) instead the phone call was to cancel the order. The letter I got from Managing Director is PATHETIC. Anyone reading it would never deal with this company. It does say "and have made changes to prevent this reoccuring again" which implies this has happened BEFORE. As way of apology I was told to get a meal and send him the bill, that is almost insulting. The word SORRY in their response (below) would have said more. I will use the word "sorry" now - I AM SORRY I EVER TRIED TO HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY.

The Window repair centre have installed 5 jobs at 3 different properties over the last 7 years. The first job was nearly 5 years ago when I had a new conservatory roof fitted by the Cheadle office. The staff were very professional and the installation was done to a very high standard by professional, tidy and polite installers. Since then I have had a porch installed by the Alsager branch this was a brick built porch which was completed start to finish in under 1 week. Same again all staff were polite professional and tidy. More recently I have had a door and some repairs done on the windows in my new bungalow. As always the work has been to an exceptional standard and was reasonably priced, they were not the cheapest but they have turned out to be the best value for money. This company has replaced our gutters and sofits. The whole experience has been very positive. The lads attending the job were competent, friendly and helpful. They have had to come back twice due to some small problems and even in the pouring rain and cold, they were lovely! I would really recommend this company!

This company kept their promises. The installers fitted 10 sealed units in a professional manner. The staff are friendly and polite. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

We have recently had a few double glazed units replaced due to them being misted up and are really pleased with them. All the staff we encountered throughout the process were polite, friendly and efficient. Everyone arrived when they said they would and the work was carried out quickly with no problems. We found the prices very competitive too. We would definitely recommend the Window Repair Centre.
