We bought our car here about 3 weeks ago on a Sunday. The car should have been ready on Wednesday but we had no news. We phoned several times and were told each time that we would receive a call back but did not receive one. At 18.00 on Wednesday they phoned to say they needed to change the cam belt. Clearly they hadn't even looked at the car until that time. Unfortunately this happened again and again until we eventually picked the car up on the Friday. When we picked up the car we noticed immediately that the cruise control wasn't working and furthermore the tailgate boot handle was practically falling off. We couldn't get an appointment for a week since we needed use of a courtesy car. We paid to have the boot fixed at another garage and booked the car in to have the electrics looked at. On this day, we dropped the car off at 08.00 as requested. By lunchtime we hadn't heard anything and called but only managed to speak to the receptionist as usual who said she would chase them up. Again all afternoon we went on calling and waiting. At 16.45 we finally heard that they had looked at the car and that they wouldn't be able to fix it the same day. They offered us an appointment in 3 weeks since we needed a courtesy car. At the same time (only a few weeks after we had bought it) they informed us that there was a recall notice with something else which needed updating. The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. Buy a car from a different garage! I wish we had.
