Having the same problems everyone else is mentioning..... E.g. Receive letters to attend asthma clinic, call up in response to book an appointment to be told try again in X amount of weeks, wait and try again to be told same thing over and over.
Been with this practice a long time. Yes it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment because they are over run like all NHS services. However, Dr Brown, Mckeen, Coleman and Martin, as well as the Scottish Lady Dr, are second to none with excellent bedside, approachable and down to earth manner. Reception have been nothing but helpful to me, especially Peggy and Christine. Reception being front of house often take a lot of flack from impatient service users, I have witnessed such rudness myself. This is a busy but good practice.
I'm not from this practice but my daughter and her family are . I would just like to say a great big THANK YOU to the triage nurse not really sure of her name Lydia or Linda for the exceptional care that she gave to my grandson and also the reassurance she gave to my daughter so so good. If it wasn't for this lady my grandson would be seriously ill so once again THANK YOU so much
This is a compete joke of a doctors, wife and 12 month old baby cant get a appointment anytime of the day. Get told constantly to call at 8 and then again at 12 or come and sit for the day and see if can get a appointment. Needs closing down or whoever's runs this place needs sacking as there complete incompetence of it is embarrassing l.
I’ve never ever seen a practice as bad as this! They are an absolute joke and how they haven’t been closed down I don’t know. They don’t answer the phone. You can’t get an appointment and if you do get one they’re never on time. I don’t mind waiting 5 or 10 minutes but not 30-40! You’ve got a better chance at the walk-in clinic!
Can’t get an appointment, months, years even have passed and no appointments available, very bad attitudes on certain receptionists and Tom who handles the complaints ignores ppl like me who have had issues with Debbie hanging up on me twice after not even trying to help me with my problem that wasn’t my mistake, Was told it wld be best if I join another doctors because I said I can never get to see a doctor. The receptionists cover each other and their lies. 8am calls dnt get through so it’s a waste of time, shame coz years ago this was run a lot better than now. Awful surgery now.
Lovely practice and extremely helpful and friendly staff. I called the practice and was triaged and called back by a doctor within 2hours. I was then promptly booked in that same day and after being examined my referral sent straight away. Considering we are still in the middle of a pandemic and restrictions on healthcare settings have not eased I feel the staff are doing an amazing job in very difficult circumstance.
I agree with some of the other patient observations. It's almost impossible to get through when you phone. I ended up having to come down to the surgery on my day off, were I felt my confidentiality was not respected when I was asked personal info over the intercom while other people where waiting for attention. I feel staff at the surgery don't read their patients reviews as lots of the observations appear to be historical. I understand we are living in difficult times, but I have worked throughout this pandemic without using it as an excuse
Worst GP surgery In Liverpool for getting an appointment. You have to ring the surgery at 8am, you will just get the busy tone no matter how many times you call (this time 134 attempts) and when you do finally get through they will have no appointments available and you will be told to do the same rigmarole tomorrow. I have not managed to get a physical appointment in this surgery for over 2 years.
