DR Shashikanth is the most unsympathetic and unhelpful person EVER! Received a private treatment through works insurance scheme however later got infection and needed antibiotics which consultant prescribed. I asked surgery to transfer private prescription which was £20 to NHS one Dr Shashikanth refused. Can't afford the antibiotics and as Dr refused to change to NHS wont be taking any, so will wait till I'm rushed to A&E.

I had 2 appointment cancelled for my vaccination. The Nurse is sick I keep getting told....as if the other doctors cant give me the vaccination. Tomorrow is my third attempt. I dont know why I pay taxes for services like these.....absolutley shocking. I will make a formal complaint to our local MP Boris Johnson. I suggest anyone with the same experience as me complaint to our MP too.

Over the weekend I developed a lump in my throat.i wasn't able to swallow anything not even water.i was in a lot of pain. Before calling the GP or 111 I went to the pharmacy myself and got tested and bought prescription over the counter.i was even told at the pharmacy to go and see my GP asap. On the Sunday I couldn't handle the pain and my temperature was 40!I called 111 and they were so helpful and told me what to take and what to do. I was asked to go to a&e but seeing the time which was past midnight I thought let's wait until tomorrow and go to the GP at 8 am maybe this time they won't send me back home and actually make sure a doctor sees me. So I got to the surgery and bear in mind I couldn't talk I've lost my voice completely. I spoke to the lady at reception who had a Arabic or Persian accent she was very nice and understood my issue. She told me the doctor wasn't coming in until 9 am and No one else was available( surely there are other doctors and seeing the state of me with a neck bigger than a watermelon, they could give me an emergency appointment).the receptionist asked me to go home and a doctor will call me but I told her I won't be able to talk.she looked at the screen and said they have an appointment with the nurse at 9 am. I said ok I will wait but another receptionist an Asian lady came from no Where and said no no we can't give you an appointment with the nurse as she won't be able to do much ( please I have seen a nurse in the past and all she done was go to the doc and explain the situation and prescribe the right medication). This other Asian receptionist was very rude and asked the previous receptionist to cancel my appointment with the nurse and was trying to explain me that the doctor will give me a call !! Surely she can see I wasn't able to talk and even had to use a pen and paper to write my number down !!!! She told me "this is not a walk in clinic " !! What's the point having such a unprofessional clinic ? I should just go every time to A&E for my health? No wonder poor hospitals are overloaded with patients when you have clinics like west medical centre !! This is not the only clinic I have been with. My previous one would always have some emergency appointments for the day so please do not tell me you don't!!! Every clinic does !!! Anyway let's see if this time I will receive a call or not because previously I never received a call from the GP as promised. If anyone wants to know my honest opinion please do not register yourself with this clinic Not only unprofessional but very disorganised. Specially certain receptionist think they have the power to send you home without an appointment and speak to you rudly. I see those posters saying no violence or rudeness tolerated towards staff well there should be a right for patients in this clinic too saying no rudeness accepted from the staff!!

This is the third time I have taken time off work to try and register at WLMC but they will still not accept me. Even though this time I brought a mortgage statement. People are encouraged to use paperless bank statements but apparently not if you want medical care from WLMC. Even though my family is registered there with the same surname and address this still doesn't prove i live where i say. Perhaps I should give up my job just so I've got enough time to jump through all the hoops required by WLMC. Time to modernise and stop being so unhelpful!

The almost awful surgery I’ve ever been signed up to. All the receptionists are terrible, so rude and incompetent. The nurses? Don’t get me started, can’t even administer common injections without messing it up. The Drs literally avoid you, anything to not do any work. Awful, awful, awful. They’re so bad, no idea how they’re still open and honestly want to escalate this practise for negligence. Awful people, don’t care about their patients at all - racist & in it for the money.

Not sure why this lovely practice has received so many bad reviews. People seem to write reviews only when they want to moan about things and don't bother to write about the good things and the hard work of others. I have been in contact with this practice on a few occasions and my experience has always been great. I have found the reception staff very polite and courteous. My concerns regarding my father has always been addressed promptly. Cant recall the main GP partner's name but he is so knowledgable and caring. This is a really good practice in my opinion.

Normally not a frequent visitor to Surgery, but came in to get my elderly mom get registered to the Surgery and get NHS number with Omicron looming at large. Staff especially Niluka and Harjit did the needful very promptly. Even safety netted my mother if anything is needed in future to get back to them. Very kind experience. Many thanks, Dr Anand

Even if I was friends or family members of this practice, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as their practice is very risky and dangerous. I had lots of issues that needed attention but no one is available to do anything, reception is always out of action, no one takes calls and let alone give you an appointment. When you walk into the practice, everyone seems very upset or angry. I have been registered with different GPs around the UK, even the worst one I have come across, is by far better than this practice. Why they are still open I don't know?
