Walnut Persian Restaurant – manchester

Wonderful, fresh, and generous portions. I was delighted by the meal! My only criticism is that the ash could be improved slightly. It needed more seasoning and zest. But other than that.. simply delicious.

Walnut is my new favourite place to eat out. Staff are super friendly. I visited 4 times, every time I went the food and service never disappointed me.

First of all as you walk in it has that mellow vibe darkened theme. Very homley and inviting by the looks. The food is just as good, they have a variety on their menu from starters to desserts and drinks. The food tastes really good there with their traditional Iranian dishes. Would highly recommend if you want something else instead of your local food dishes. Have to try out other foods and not just stick to one kind of food. But yeah will recommend for anyone who wishes to take a step further in trying out new foods.

After hearing so much about the place I finally went for a meal. The place used to be a shisha lounge then changed to a restaurant and I think its the best decision they made. As the food is so nice and freshly prepared. Its tasteful and the service is amazing. The staff is friendly and looks after you well. The price is average for the quality food they are service. Its a great pace to take family as they have family booths and normal table for couples. I will definitely go back. They accept card payments too and the parking can be difficult if you are not from the area as you will have to dive around the block to come up behind the place for parking if you want to walk the least.

The one thing that makes this place worth a visit is the amazing service. In hospitality, this is what makes the biggest difference. The food speaks for itself as the quality is exceptional. This is now a firm favourite in Manchester and worth repeat business. Credit to the staff for making the experience at Walnut memorable.

I came here for a meal and the food was absolutely amazing. It’s my comfort and home food and it just hit the spot right! Would highly recommend it. The staff are so friendly and nice. They make sure you’re content. I was served by Mahi and she was absolutely amazing and kind. ❤️

Best Persian restaurant on Wilmslow road. In fact, amongst all Persian restaurant I’ve tried anywhere in the UK till now. All the meat, Kobeida and chicken were so soft! Not chewy at all. Rice was nice too. Highly recommended!

Service is slow, took almost an hour to serve our food. Salad was small, super sour and had too much onion, tasted more like a garnish than a salad. Lamb cubes tasted good and ice cream was delicious. A decent experience over all.

My first time on this restaurant. Simply amazing. The food is delicious. Staff is very friendly, they gave us a lot of suggestions what to order. On top of that, the place is warm and cozy. Give it a try. Well done.
