I'd be a lot happier wandering through the wine & spirits aisles if a uniformed security guard weren't following me. I guess Head Office has done a cost/benefit analysis & decided to appoint a security company but I'm not prepared to be treated as someone under suicide watch on D-Wing just because I want to see whether there any worthwhile reductions on the Scotch shelves. I won't be bothering Waitrose or its security staff again.

A quality store whose image is devalued by disgusting exterior....can't understand management not getting the exterior walls cleaned and then putting up netting to avoid all the bird droppings. Not good for Waitrose or Bath. Hate to think what foreign tourists think!

I love Waitrose. They have a great variety of products, great bakery and deli and very easy to find what you're looking for and also things you weren't looking for but were happy you did. It's my favourite grocery store. I am a big fan of the Waitrose brand frozen/chilled dinners and the fresh pasta in the refrigerated section. Their fresh pre-packaged salads in the produce section are good too.

Spooky ! I just visited, and didn't buy anything. Worryingly Big Brother definitely watching me ! What other private information is being scrutinized ? I did notice a very good range of Belgium beers, but virtually nothing in the range of traditional Christmas roasts ---- disappointing.
