As much as I love Bristol's selection of indie venues, this is the best cinema in the city. It can be totally packed (with kids!) and you wouldn't know it, the screens are huge, the seats are comfy and the sound is excellent. Friendly staff and a decent (Shining-themed!?) bar top it off.

My local cinema. Generally never too busy even when a film has just come out. Food overpriced but same with most cinemas nowadays. Extremely good ticket prices which makes up for this. £5 for an adult ticket all day every day. Combined with 241 makes it an extremely cheap outing! Queues for tickets can sometimes take a long time but staff tend to be friendly! Recently noticed the ceiling lighting has been a little bit bright during movies and sound seems slightly quieter but not too much of a complaint. Anything bad about Vue tends to be balanced out with something really good.

Not bad pricing for tickets, paid £19 for four tickets, but drinks etc are extremely expensive. Over £10 for two medium cokes and a bottle of water which lost the last star. Other than that very good.

Screens seen well maintained, sound is good and there are VIP seats. However the rest of the complex has plenty of broken bits that look like they haven't been fixed in a while: broken floor tiles, trailer screens, toilet doors (why there's always some idiot who feels it necessary to break a toilet door or lock I don't know) and taps. Ok to watch a film but I didn't feel inclined to hang around before or after, however there aren't many options this side of Bristol.

Surprisingly not too expensive. 3 adult tickets £17.we had the whole of screen 12 to ourselves for the 10.30 pm showing of Downton the movie. Be warned though the pick and mix is super expensive £2.50 per quarter!!!

The people of Longwell Green deserve a better cinema. The place is ran into the ground. Vue have deserted it. Firstly, the foyer is looking sad and uninviting. Dark and cold. The small kiosk counter is the only one open. Our showing was at 2:45pm. Once in the screen, the image was showing in the wrong ratio (2:39 instead of 1:85). The heating wasn’t turned on so I left the screen half way through the film to let them know as the screen was freezing and ruining the experience. Why leave the warmth of my home and sit in a cold cinema? At the end of the film, I was told the heating wasn’t working by the Manager. Looking at the place, I’m wondering when did it last work? There was a whole in the screen sheet as well which was noticeable during light scenes! This is screen 1 and from the looks of the cinema, it’s not had any love since it opened around 20 years ago. Vue need to let the cinema go and give it to someone who cares or put some money into it. How can you tell people to visit the cinema and ‘save cinema’ and this is what you offer? There are better cinemas available and you won’t leave a better cinema thinking ‘I wish I watched that at home’.

Decent sized cinema showing all the newest films. Prices in this post pandemic world are very reasonable. Its the snacks where they make their money. EDIT: Went again on 17/08/21 and the screen room clearly had not been cleaned from the previous screening(s). Had to give my seat a proper good wipe down. Disappointing to see given the covid-19 situation...

Easy access on Sunday afternoon. Organised unique queue system for purchasing beverage and food. Screen was clean. I arrived 8 min before the movie started and the lights of the screen were off. I asked for them to be switched on and they did it promptly. I have seen more luxurious and comfortable places. This is correct, clean. Image and sound were good.

Great 'covid safe' experience - felt very safe. Lots of cleaning post-film being carried out and good distancing left between families. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the cinema 😊
