The spa itself was lovely and relaxing. The hydro pool was invigorating. The lady selling the snacks was friendly. It would have been nice to have lunch (hot food) facilities there as it would have been more convenient. The person at the reception was very unfriendly and helpful; she definitely had some sort of attitude problem towards people who don't resemble her if you know what I mean. However, it was my first experience there and it was good overall minus the receptionist.

I was given a Red Letter Days' voucher and used it for an hour's hydrating facial. Excellent service throughout. Yes, I had to leave a contact number when trying to book but staff got back very quickly. I also needed to rebook voucher, which was again done quickly and efficiently, despite it being past expiry date. Staff very welcoming, calming atmosphere in reception as lovely perfume which immediately relaxed me. Facial thorough, professional and products and methods explained fully. Icing on Christmas cake was buying some recommended products, no hard sell but very good prices for quality. Ended up buying Christmas presents! Thoroughly recommend.

A really basic, but nice spa. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the facilities which were clean and to a high standard. We did have to mark down for the lunch which was woeful. We were expecting a home made winter soup, or something along them lines, however to our dismay they only had a chocolate brownie which I could only describe as a hocky Puck!

Excellent massage, the spa facilities are great too. I take 1 star off because it could be a bit cleaner especially in the changing room. The shower can't get locked and there is no individual changing room.

Submitted a request for a couples massage 9 days in advance. Had no response and after multiple e-mail chasers for confirmation I eventually got in touch over the phone to be told that they “may have missed it”. There was no availability and I was left with no spa day for my wife’s birthday. AVOID BOOKING or ATTEMPTING TO BOOK, you may never get a response and be left with disappointment!

The treatments were fine, but using the covid excuse for not providing slippers, towels and bathrobes to the guests was really disappointing. Those items are individually used and can be washed. The relaxation room was freezing. We asked for the heating to be turned on, but it was not. No tea or water in the relaxation room. At this price, I will book a spa in a nice hotel next time.

1/ 5

Myself and my partner booked in for a couple's massage which was lovely. However the 'luxurious' spa was very disappointing. It was very small and basic and the changing/shower rooms were filthy. There was hair and dirt all over the floor I don't think it had been in contact with a cloth or disinfectant all week, I would of thought due to the pandemic this would have been a priority. Out of the 2 shower cubicles only one of them had a door that locked, there was no privacy for changing, the shampoo dispensers were empty and so was the dispenser for the wet swimwear bags. I have been to many spas and this is by far the most disappointing.

Not the luxurious spa that is advertised! Dirty, cold and made to walk across the public entrance in our swimsuits and towels to the sports hall to access food and drinks as the spa cafe was closed. When we got to the public cafe there was no food left (12.30) so was unable to eat whilst there. Beds were broken and they are still not providing robes etc due to covid and yet had towels on the beds that people shared… I have contacted management about the issues and promised a call back but still no contact from them. Do not book if you are expecting a relaxing spa day.
