If you are a prospective student who dreams of becoming a lawyer (a solicitor, a barrister, an in-house lawyer etc)...with a degree from this "university" your dream is very unlikely to come true. But don't take our word for it. Do the following. Whether you are a British or an overseas I suggest you to do your own research before enrolling here. 1. Reputation is a complex thing. However, the University of Westminster as a whole, does not have great reputation. Despite of what others may tell you,an institution's reputation matters a lot, particularly in the legal sector. Take a look at how many Westminster graduates are out there working as solicitor's , barristers, in-house lawyer...or in any law-related professions. Or ask any major employer as to how many people they employ with a degree from Westminster as a whole. 2. Check the university's ranking among universities in the world. (The Guardian University Rankings may be a good start) 3. Check the university's ranking when it comes to this particular course (Law) in the UK. 4. Ask a few final year students (off campus) as to whether they are satisfied with their course and their university as a whole or not. 5. Ask a few new Westminster graduates about their (graduate) employment prospects. Ask them if they regretted coming to the University of Westminster. 6. Do a bit of research with any decent search engine and see what the independent media has written about the University of Westminster. 7. Have you been promised a scholarship, a bursary or any other form of financial support? Make sure you get it in writing and signed by the university before you even enroll. 8. Use the Freedom of Information Act to find out more about this institution. Legally the university is obliged to reply you and release the information you need. (Failing to do so would be a criminal offence and they know this, too) Chances are, by the time you have done these steps, you would not want to come to the University of Westminster. And nobody can blame you. There are better universities in London.

Worst school ever seen. At first, it's corrupted school, they didn't pass 143 students from a simple module (Managing People) just to earn more money!!! I sent Mitigating Circumstances report and it was accepted. Now they told me I didn't send any circumstances report and need to submit it. What kind of professionals can do that huge mistake? Their plan is clear, they want to push students to retake module then we are going to pay more 6.500£ for one module. They don't focus teaching, they just want to earn money. I made a mistake and enrolled this school. Biggest mistake of my life...
