I'm a former employee who applied for work using the Temporary Staffing Service but was turned down. It is a puzzling outfit which doesn't really make clear what skills they are looking for (do they want expertise in IT or not? And if so, what sort of expertise?). Comparing notes with people who've been employed by similar services at other universities makes me think that it could be more extensively and productively used.
