The 5star reviews are from the staff desperate to keep their jobs. The degrees are now accredited by the Open University so you may as well go straight there. Not impressed, tutors kept going off due to stress and classes were cancelled or we were just left to get on with our own study. A very badly run place not enough good staff

Not much to say, the people are awful and I'm not learning anything as the teachers give exams before lectures.

5/ 5

Previously known as College House, now transformed into a University Centre hosting a large number of undergraduate, professional courses and degree level apprenticeships from September 2016. It is meant to provide dedicated facilities and a University-like experience to the HE students. There are new study areas, including silent study areas and group study areas, filled with PCs, printers and other equipment to aid students in their studies. The building, rooms, all facilities and equipment feel like new and the environment has a professional feel to it. It feels good to be in that place, and it is very close to the main Leeds City College campus - the Park Lane campus, and close to the Leeds City Centre. Previously, undergraduate IT courses were taught in Horsforth campus 6 miles away from the city centre. Now they are taught in the University Centre making them more accessible and more attractive to students.

Well where do I start? Firstly the tutors are ignorant and very rude, if one wants to complain, don`t bother there complaints department is a little side office, a place which the tutors are very "pally" with each other! So rest assured a complaint would only result in you being targeted and bullied! Also the Business management and leadership top up "Degree" Is resided over by a woman who has the students working on the "Left brain right brain" MYTH as though a factual course of study! The problem is not so much with the simple-minded Pseudo-science like the "Left brain right brain" Myth, rather its the disgusting incompetent manner in which this tuition fee theft "Establishment" is run! So glad I left and went to a proper university before they stole all my money!

Course tutor was fantastic. Everything else was so poorly thought out, poorly implemented and poorly ran. Nobody seems to communicate here and when something goes wrong all the behind the scenes staff and middle management take unashamed cover behind the nearest policy and push everything onto their nearest scapegoat until noone talks about it anymore. So incompetent, - one member of staff brought security just to ask someone to move from a chair. Quite disgusted really

The Extended Diploma in Fine Art and Design course was one of the best courses I have studied on, the tutors (Kevin, Kirsty and Sarah) were perfect and made the course exciting and memorable. The course explored a range of different skills and media's with live and closed briefs. It prepares you for a job in the niche you choose or your chosen university course. If I could do it all over again I would, you really feel yourself grow and progress and all the staff are helpful and have an interest in your future, they're behind you 1000 percent. A really great atmosphere and worth the money (if paying). A bonus if continuing on from school like I did.
