Twitchill Farm Holiday Cottages – Peak District

Amazing place really enjoying here. perfect time for me and my girlfriend

Disappointed in the lack of clarity when booking and even these pictures are more than a little deceiving. Six of us booked here, 3 couples and brought a new rescue dog. It wasn't until after we booked that we found out that the lovely garden is shared with the house next door. 'Luckily' the family in the next house didnt have another dog but we couldn't let the dog run free because of their children. The house is also lovely but only if you know your friends well as there isn't a lot of space and the second 'bathroom' (shower cubicle and toilet stall) is outside the house. The living space only has sofas for 6 but the seating area would work as a squeeze for 8. We also didn't find out that the pool was shared until after booking, thankfully because of covid we had sole access albeit in shifts. That being said the house is nice, and the pool was great but the sharing arrangements should be obvious on booking, you can't trust the pictures!

We stayed at the Birch cottage and it was lovely place. Great views and has all the ammenities. The pool is a great addition and the host is very quick with responses and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Not used it- just walked by. I did make an enquiry and it us expensive.

Past these cottages while out on a walk. They look well appointed. Lovely location in the Peak District. All within reach of Hope, Hathersage, Bamford, castleton and Edale. Great walking and beautiful scenery abound. I will have to give them a try one day. Must add it to my bucket list.

Great Holiday accomodation set on the hill side, very rural with great walks, on site swimming pool. Short drive into nearby village or 15 minutes stroll down country paths....good local pubs, indian restaurant easy access to the rest of the Peak District. GS

A lovely long family weekend in Ash Cottage - what a stunning location. Cottage was great, enjoyed the garden & BBQ, the walks on the doorstep, the abundance of sheep and lambs around, the local pub which was easy to walk to and most of all the fabulous swimming pool area - the kids (and adults too) had an absolute ball. Thanks Sophie.

This place is incredible. I'm here right now. Its better than expected, such great views and peaceful environment. Don't think twice, its such a great experience. I'll definitely be back

Great cottage, in a lovely location. Was a lot better than we thought it would be. Cottage was nice and clean, as was the swimming pool area. Sophie was very helpful!
