Pretty interesting self guided audio tour. Routes are clearly marked inside the cavern and the mobile app automatically plays the right audio based on your location in the cavern. It's recommended to book in advance, you may be able to book in person if there's any. Social distancing is followed throughout the tour (they only allow one group every 5 minutes). Includes a cafe (toilet was closed due to Covid 19) and has amazing views from the exit area.

Lovely little attraction - great to support during Covid times. Superb to have staggered start times for tours. My 3 year old was a little scared - but they did enjoy the blue john stone polishing. So facinating to see the blue john and the beautiful caves. Well worth doing!

Nice hiking day out with a lunch in Castleton. Lots of caverns to explore for something a bit different if you're keen. Pretty busy a very touristy area. We did a small hike up Winnats Pass was about 5km from the town up a steep climb coming round the top and back down the other side. If you fancy a bit more of a walk you could climb to the top of Mam Tor from the top of the pass or park along the roads near the Blue John caverns as a starting point.

Staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. There was a power cut when we were there and the lights went out in the cavern...it was brilliant!! Polishing the Blue John Stone was a nice add on activity and the view was stunning. Very interesting place and well worth the entrance.

Amazing cave! We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and exploring. Loved the fact that you aren't with a group of people as you're able to take your time. Best cave in the area.
