Good location parking great, shops nearby and pub. Pillows are too firm. Rooms are very warm even without the heating on. Shower is hot enough and plenty of hot water. Very nice walk around the marina. Good to watch the marina lock working.

Great place. Excellent service and happy helpful staff. Update.. Returned four weeks later. It was our second stay at this travelodge. Once again I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were very accommodating to our requests. The staff are very polite, courteous & helpful, down to the detail of them opening the door to the lift area each time we appeared. Check in was made easy and cheerful, especially by Roger. He always has a smile on his face and goes the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. Cleaners were quiet and efficient too. The foyer and outside were kept very clean and tidy by the staff. All other facilities were walking distance, including cafes, bars, supermarkets & fuel etc. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and we will go again.

The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. It was the perfect location to attend a wedding party in the evening on the high street. The price for the room was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly in both the hotel and in the Wetherspoon pub next door. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay at this Travelodge again.

I left a pillow there. No one has contacted me regarding this. Hence only 4 * otherwise it would have been 5. We did not arrive until 10.30 at night. But was greeted with a very.pleasant young man who was friendly and easy to talk to. There were not enough towels. But very clean and fresh. Bonus was it is literally on the harbour. I will return in the summer.

Good location with friendly helpful staff. Only reason for four stars is that it appeared noisy. I do not know if the construction is different but could hear people moving around. Never noticed that in other TL's. However, good hotel.
