Standard travel lodge in good central location. Good level of cleanliness throughout. The shower was quite small but good temperature and pressure. The burger we had was delicious. Price was a bit expensive for the room.

Room was very average, the noise was awful the shower was terrible temperature and pressure constantly changed by it self. After a stay in 212 I was covered in bed bug bites absolutely disgusting. Staff have dealt with the situation very poorly after a phone call and promised compensation I have heard nothing from them. Expected a call back from the manager again never happened. Wouldn’t stay with the travel lodge ever again disgraceful.

I travel to Bristol at least one a month and thought that I would try the Travelodge as the prices were very reasonable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful which was gave a good first impression of the hotel. The room and bathroom both looked clean and tidy. What surprised me was how small the room was. I had paid a little extra for a "Business Room" which was advertised as being in the quietest part pf the hotel and the room was on the top floor, however, it overlooked the main road and with no air conditioning the window had to stay open at least until the room cooled down. In the bathroom the shower was nice and powerful but the shower cubicle was so narrow that I couldn't turn around, in the shower, without the shower curtain sticking to me. The breakfast was OK but the coffee wasn't very good, it is advertised as Lavazza Coffee which I have no reason to doubt but it was VERY weak. The WiFi is free for the first 30 minutes and then costs £3 for 24 hours. My experience was that it was adequate for surfing and email but it couldn't handle streaming video. There is nothing wrong with this hotel as long as you remember that it is a budget hotel.

Worst hotel experience. Hotel was dirty, the halls were simply disgusting as if it had not been cleaned in a decade. Bedroom was also not clean. Robotic hoover left in the bedroom and it clearly didn't work or do its job. Sheet was simply, placed on top of duvet... Had to make our own bed. Parking ..so for a budget hotel that's not actually budget pricing you also have to pay for your parking (which is part of the hotel and not a separate public car park). The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. We learned a valuable lesson staying here, pay the extra 50 for a nicer hotel This way we can actually enjoy our stay. Although, noise is expected, being in very close proximity to town, we didn't expect to have guests screaming and literally fighting, slamming doors running up and down the hall from 2am till 6am. With no phone in the room to inform reception, we were left to simply deal with it. I don't know if this is a norm for its proximity to town, however be weary about it if planning to stay.

Friendly, helpful staff. Only problem was accessing the accessable room. Room door was too close to the door to the lifts, had to drive mobility scooter past the room door and reverse into the room, hardly any room to manoeuvre scooter, only just managed to reverse into the room. Apart from that we had a good 3 days.

Exactly what you would expect of the brand. Nice clean room. Reception people are nice. Rooms are small as you often get in a city but a good price and positioned well for a few days wandering Bristol sites on foot.
