The gym used to be better, the metal frames which are hardly used were a bad buy as really popular equipment made way for them. The hammer strength stuff is brilliant, not a fan of the pulse fitness machines. Need a few more benches in the free weights area and another set of dumbbells. These changes could make the gym 5 stars again.

A great gym to get your workout done. The large space this gym offers is fantastic keeping everyone spaced out well and not getting over crowded. The equipment is well maintained and very friendly staff.

The customer service was awful. First of all, there was only one member of staff attending to people walking in and once we paid for our membership we received no receipt or email to confirm the payment even though it was immediately withdrawn from my bank account!. I then went back the next day to sort everything out and received no help. I then told the guy who was at the membership office to cancel and he said there won't be any money coming out of my account. Surprisingly I got home after about 40mins and they had taken out £128. I Rang head office who said the manager at total fitness Bolton had gone home and they couldn't help. Disgusting. Started getting phone calls someone threatening to smash my window. What they didn't realise is I never use my full name only there at total fitness so I know who the threat was from and has notified the police !!!!!! Spoke to the manager Tony the next day. Who was very helpful thank you Tony
