We hired a car over the Easter weekend and it all went well. Process is quite straightforward but do note that they will need your dvla check code. As long as you have the right paperwork and return the car in the same condition there are no hidden costs. We had a great experience and the man on the front desk was really helpful to deal with.

Absolutely diabolical. My husband made a mistake and picked up a document dated 31/3/2019 so it was a couple of weeks outside their 8 week deadline. Adnan was so rude, kept interrupting and his favourite phrase was “no no no “ He wasn’t prepared to listen. Or offer a resolution. My husband offered to leave his wallet and house keys so he could just nip home and get the correctly dated utility bill, bearing in mind driving licence and everything else was in order. Again just no no. And no resolution was offered. I wouldn’t even give 1 star. I paid in advance via PayPal and have yet to receive a refund. Avoid like the plague !!!!

Can the driver of Thrifty van (GJ69VNT), a VW Caddy who lives on Daintry Close in Harrow be taught how to drive! He seems not to understand the concept of zebra crossings and safe driving around the Harrow area!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thrifty HR urgently needs to review their staff credentials. Harrow branch especially not very good with customers. Reading the other reviews explains it all. As a local resident we have many great small businesses in the area and this one really needs drastic improvement.

This used to be my go to place whenever I needed a car, which was usually at least once a month. Since the management changed though, the place has declined dramatically. My last experience (which was indeed my last) resulted in waiting for more than half an hour just to get my details in and to have them say to me that had no cars available. Better, worse, manual, automatic... just no car available. It baffles me how this happens when reservations are made in advance and it would never happen under the old management. I did get a refund, but that didn't resolve the fact that I needed a car for the day.
