We arrived about 10 minutes early so we sat at a table in the bar and the waitress said she would come and get us when our table was ready. About 10 minutes after our reservation we asked how long our table would be. She said she forgot and it was ready all along. We sat and waited for 15 minutes before we went to the bar and asked for the table number as we could order online and that seemed faster than waiting. A waiter came straight after and asked to take our order with him not online. We ordered food and 2 drinks. They forgot to bring out drinks, they were left on the bar so we went and got them. The food was below average. Stale, cold, undercooked... Just generally a naff roast. No one came to ask how the meal was and staff avoiding eye contact with all patrons. We were not given a bill so we went to the bar to pay and they gave us 50% off our meals for "forgetting you". I can't think of why you would come here to eat. It's not quick, cheap, well executed, or any other reasons I would recommend.

Had a very enjoyable Sunday roast with wife. Service was well above average and our waiter remained friendly and patient despite being obviously rushed off his feet. Wine list was so much better than most places we have visited in UK. In fact it would be a 5 star rating except for one thing. My trio of meats included a piece of roast pork which was both moist and tasty, alas its' diminutive size brought a tear to my eye.

Popped in on the off chance on a Sunday evening, and despite being busy, they had space for four. The wait was not too long at all. Food was really lovely, perfectly cooked meats. A good menu selection for the kids. The bill wasn't as big as expected. 2 rounds of drinks, main with extra sides, and puddings for the four of us came to £86. Lovely staff. Nicely decorated for the festive season and 2 roaring fires within our view. Will visit again. Many thanks.

Had Christmas Lunch today starter & pudding were really delicious. Sadly the main course of Turkey was far too salty. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, so no complaints there.
