The Surgery – Dr Shafi – General Practitioner leicester

Getting rather fed up of the receptionists .I have blood test every 6 months .have done for 3 years. 2 weeks ago nipped in ask for appointment for blood test .and was asked why/who said you need a blood test ..?? Said they will get doc to call me..heard nothing ..nipped in again last Thursday .asked the same question .well there's nothing on the system was the reply .but will get doc to call u back .so I just snapped and said way like you said 10 days ago ..still not heard anything ..so I will now make an appointment and make up an excuse ...and I will make my feelings clear

Worst doctors i have ever been to doesn't even deserve 1 star. Receptionists are incompetent and try to send you to A&E when it's a recurring illness that needs to be seen by the doctor. They give wrong information all the time or don't give you vital information that's important to your appointment. There's no communication between each surgery. Doctors will not listen to you half the time, they shouldn't be allowed to practice on stuffed toys let alone people. The one and only good thing is the nurse, she is very caring and helpful. She is too good for that place. I'll be changing doctors ASAP.

I recently was feeling really rather unwell so contacted my practice for some advice. I explained my situation and the lovely receptionist arranged for the Doctor to call me back that morning. The Doctor was very helpful and really took their time to explain my options to me. A week on and I feel back to my usual self. All round an efficient and caring service.

Personally me and my family have never had any issues with Dr Shafi or his wonderful team of receptionists, nurses and doctors! We are always able to get an appointment when we need one and the receptionists always do their very best to help or point is in the right direction of other services available. I would definitely recommend.

Always get a brilliant service from this surgery and it's team. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Unqualified staff and unprofessional I have try to book an appointment for my daughter what she doing fever from 3 days and we was and on emergency and nobody's try to help us or like that, they ask me to do a consultation by phone, I don't how they check her without to see it when she was acusating pain in the neck and doing high fever, and I ask them what I doing now I wait to die her in my arms, and them answer was yes. Thank for you answer, horrible staff

Horrible staff, receptionist is the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever encountered, I genuinely don't understand how she's allowed to work anywhere where there's human interaction involved.

Anita the receptionist won't book appointments, acts as if she's the doctor. Requested emergency booking and callback, but was refused multiple times. Will be filing legal action against surgery.

The worst doctor i’ve ever had , especially the receptionist. She always wanted to tell me what to do instead of the doctor and the doc didn’t even wanted to give me any appointment. Very sad i have this dictor.
