Best tasting fish and chips we have had in Cambridge. The calamari was also enjoyable. Would certainly recommend to anyone in the area. Unlike most fish and chip shops, you can sit in and eat here, which makes a pleasant change to the usual takeaway experience. Fantastic service from all the staff and great music choice! The only downside was that the restaurant area was on the cold side. Will certainly return again.

This is not just a fish and chips shop. It’s a culinary experience straight from the Mediterranean with a North twist. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing! Try the mussels and the king prawns, and also the mackerel. The chips are to die for. The service is always good and it’s really good value for money. Clean toilets also a bonus! A cute and friendly and unassuming place. Freshly cooked high quality food. And a fabulous array of fresh seafood. Certainly no ordinary fish and chip place. I had a take away, but shall most definitely be coming back to dine in!

Feb 2021 update: They quickly adapted an excellent web site for delivery or pick-up. Battered Haddock still the best in Cambridge and the chippie shop chips travelled well. 2019: Excellent battered fish but the chips felt a bit day old. They do all manner of seafood as well as a wide choice of fish. You can eat in with a glass of wine or have traditional take away. They also sell wet fish and seafood to cook at home. One of several unique food and drink establishments that make Mill Road the best street in Cambridge for everything.

Hearty, if not particularly healthy. Chips are proper, not dries, cod is very meaty, with not so much batter you feel you are drowning in it. People running it are very pleasant, including the comical moment they basically smoked the place (plaice..?) out. Bit of a laugh. Though didn't have it, the beer on tap looks pretty tasty - great accompaniment if the weather was a little warmer. Definitely would go back. After a diet.
