Very enjoyable and pleasant place to visit. Good parking, very nice decor throughout including the toilets with various quirky items on display. Drinks on tap was a little limited but very good service on the mixed drinks. Good wine choices and the bottle of Zinfandel we chose was extremely nice. Menu was a nice blend of traditional inspired Gastro meals at reasonable prices which were prompt and appealing on presentation. We rounded of our evening by playing some of the many board games available in the bar. Very enjoyable evening would definitely visit again.

Threw my best friends baby shower here today, could not have asked for a better more friendly team of people and the space was brilliant, plenty of room and nice and airy. Nigel went above and beyond to make the day good and it was perfect. We all ate roast dinners and had no complaints, they were lovely! Thank you Nigel and all the team for an amazing day.

Last minute booking but they fitted us indoors for a 2-hour slot, or we could have been served at an outdoor table for as long as we wanted. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The pub was smartly furnished with touches of individual flair. WCs clean and well appointed. BUT above all the food was delicious - best Hunter's Chicken - ever! Would definitely recommend.

Nigel and Shaun are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond. Really can't do enough for you. Always ask about your day and give you ideas on where to visit ect. Nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were fantastic and Incredibly attentive. Especially Finn and Harry. We only stayed 2 nights but felt like we had known them all a lifetime. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms and amazing food. Bus stop is right outside and is a 15 minute drive into the centre of bath. So easy to do. Perfect location. Perfect stay. Can't wait to rebook and stay longer. Thank you Nigel Shaun and staff for making our stay perfect. Look forward to our return with you all soon.
