The Portland Arms Cambridge cambridge

I love this venue for gigs. The sound is great, the stage and audience layout creates an intimate atmosphere. Has a good range of drinks though I'm usually driving so can't sample them. Bar staff could be a bit more cheerful though.

Been going to the PA for 8 years now and it's always been consistently good. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, even the new staff. They clearly care who they hire.

Only went to watch the football game as they had sky sports advertised but apparently they haven't had Sky sports or BT sports for about a year and a half as told to me from the barmaid. Otherwise seems like a good scene and lively pub. So in my opinion good pub but no sports.

Nice little pub. Good food and plenty of drinks to choose from. Indoor seating there doesn't seem to be much of. But I never saw any outdoor seating. Friendly staff.

Good live music venue, nice and intimate. Nice pub too with good food and excellent service. Been to a couple of gigs here now. An enjoyable evening each time.

I can only review the Portland based on drinks and gigs and both are awesome. Seen a few live events here, always well run and organised. Acoustics seem good. Drinks are the same as any other bar. Seems like a really nice, local pub with excellent events!

Really nice place and kind people! I've been there for a coffe with ex colleagues and I really liked it. I will definitely go back to enjoy live music as well!

Excellent music venue. A small and friendly space that offers an opportunity for live music to be enjoyed. It is something that every city needs.

I absolutely adore The Portland Arms. For on the atmosphere, to the beer, to the vegan food, to the live music venue, to the always great staff. There is nothing I don't like about the place. If I could magically transport it from Cambridge to my home town I would.

Great pub. Good ale. Even better live music venue.
