Refurbished pub with live music and buzzy atmosphere (on Saturday night, anyway)

What a great proper pub, great staff, great beer, wood burner, and hearty generous Sunday lunch.

A top notch venue for food, drink and music.

Love this place! We frequently come here for drinks and recently, really enjoyed their Sunday roast dinner. The music is great, bar staff are very friendly and there is a nice, relaxed feel about the place. Very much looking forward to visiting in the summer once the beer garden has had its re-vamp!

Arrived about an hour ago, was told they had no Sunday roasts left. Okay, no worries - we'll have a pint while we consider our next step then. Now we're sitting here and the cook has just finished eating, headed back to the kitchen, and now they're serving roasts again. What the actual

If you went to this pub before lockdown for year like me don't even waste your time now. Was my favourite place to go for a roast definitely one of the best in oxford. It's was a great size I would have to get the kids sometimes. Everything was done how a real English roast should be and definitely not tesco veg! If they can't find a chef as good as the old one and the Produce then stop selling roast! Because you wasted my time and money and the owners are definitely wasting there's! If I didn't do a takeaway I would of got my money back.

Dropped in on Saturday eve and had a good night. Staff friendly.
