This must be the best pub for miles around. Prices are great and the food is very high quality, having weekday offers and children's menus. The Sunday lunch is fantastic, 2 courses £11.45 and 3 courses £13.45. The pub itself is old, cosy and lovely. In the summer the riverside garden with its play area and huge lawn has to be seen to be believed. As a bonus the pub has 5 rooms for guests from £50 a night and is child and dog friendly. The staff are really friendly and helpful and there is plenty of car parking.

I feel this establishment has been hit hard by the recent COVID19 pandemic and are trying their absolute best to get back on track. There were a number of issues with the accommodation, some could be resolved immediately, others whereby the proprietors can address accordingly.
