Shocking experience from a recommended company. If I could score no stars then I would but will give one star for the bare fact that they completed the job. The job being a house purchase transaction. The process started at the beginning of September and we didn't complete until a couple of days before Christmas. You may think that this is a reasonable time, but there was no chain involved, a simple transaction. In the four months it took to complete rarely did we get updates. We we given access to a website which would show the process and expected dates for each process to be completed, this only had 2 updates and had most of it updates completed only after we had moved. I phoned at various stages to get updates and had to leave messages, these were never returned. Twice I complained to the company, the first occasion i was told if I don't like it go elsewhere and the second time I spoke to their dedicated complaints department. That was as good as talking to a brick wall, a very negative defensive responce defending themselves without allowing me to express my concerns to them. On the emails received with correspondence relating to my purchase they were not very professional in the way they were written or worded. My dealings with David Dickson as qualified as he is in doing his job, is that the company are to busy for the amount of work that they are taking on. They are either understaffed or taking to much work on, this then reflects in the level of service provided to you the customer. When paying a reasonable cost for their service you expect a decent level of service. Unfortunately I would not use PRG again or recommend to anyone. If you decide to use them I wish you all the luck as you are going to need it.
