A house that has seen better days
Worth a visit excellent.
I wish I took pictures, only £5 to get in, a fabulous hidden gem. A 500 year old manor house, filled with interesting donated items, from dolly tubs to cameras, butter makers to identity cards. No refreshments available but please go to Bakewell, enjoy the fabulous area, then head to the church on the hill to see this lovely museum.
Absolutely fantastic, this truly is a hidden treasure in Bakewell. Fantastic to see so much history in one place and the volunteers are fantastic and knowledgeable about the entire house. 8 year old loved it and can't wait to go again
Close to the town centre, just after a short climb. Very interesting well set up also informative. I would recommend it.
A brilliant example of how to provide an absorbing experience in such a small place. Well worth a visit at any time. Very limited free parking nearby or pay to park in the town.
Very interesting. A must visit. Recommended.
Such a cute spot. The building is fascinating and its contents reflect the surrounding communities fantastically. We will very much be back!
Nice little museum, climb up from Bakewell is steep but worth it.
