The New Victoria Hospital glasgow

To be honest I don't like hospitals. I have been here 2 days in a row helping a relative and it's quite a clean, modern hospital, with excellent, friendly staff, if you are sick then sorry, but this would not be the worst place to come. The parking is good and free but a little difficult to find with a challenging crossroads at Battlefield Road.

I went to the minor injuries with my daughter’s infected piercing. I was waiting 2 hours for someone to check on her and when the nurse came, he was quite rude. He said it’s need to me taken off which caused my daughter to have a panic attack. Instead of helping her to calm down, he said he doesn’t have time because other people are waiting.

Just had an operation on my eye. Staff were amazing could not be nicer, thumbs up to the NHS well done

Very welcoming at Endoscopy Unit staff put me at ease explaining every step of procedure.. and a very welcome cup of tea & toast.. Big thank you 🙏🏽👍

Was very worried about having a Gastroscopy, I am asthmatic and the thought of anything going down my throat causing me to choke or gag terrified me, but the staff were amazing, I was well looked after, given throat spray and sedation and don't remember the procedure at all. I didn't feel sick or dizzy and actually walked home with my mum who came to collect me. The doctor and nurses were so nice. I was given my results with a leaflet and what medication to take. A huge thanks to all the staff at the Endoscopy department.

Attended this morning- Dr Lee's bedside manner was impeccable and his care of me first class- suspected kidney infection, examination of prostate - very very professional.

Minor Injuries unit is poor. No doctors on site and they always turn away patients. One of the chaps was very rude also!

Have had a couple of annual eye tests since becoming diabetic, staff have always been welcoming and friendly. The building is cheering than the old hospital too, I usually sit with a tea or coffee and a hot roll from the cafe after my appointment.
