The staff we're exceptional! Really made for a great evening. We had our spaniel with us, so it's dog friendly too The food was good, although my partners steak was not the best cut of meat and neither of us really loved the dessert (very very sweet tart, felt the sugar) but I would definitely go again. The little starter was delicious and the mains did taste lovely. The staff were brilliant!

The food at The Miller is exquisite. I had the soup and a steak and was not disappointed. The attention to detail makes this undoubtedly my favourite place to eat in Goring and probably the surrounding area as well. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I have one criticism and I guess it's a weird one:- I was put off a few months ago by the cocktail hour when I went for drinks. A "cocktail hour" usually implies there is some sort of deal. When we went to take advantage of this "cocktail hour" we realised it wasn't a promotion of sorts but "a good time to have cocktails at", we weren't the only table that were attracted in by this as we heard staff explaining this to another table. So maybe looking at this might be useful so others aren't confused.

I visited Goring for a day out, needed some where to go for lunch, so went to The Miller of Mansfield. The table setting was comfortable, as we had our own space. Their BIN red wine taste aired well after twenty minutes. I liked the different ideas, e.g sour doe bread with home made butters as a starter. The beef dish was nice with it's vegetable trimmings well worth the try. Well done all.

The food and the service was second to none. We both absolutely loved our food from start to end, and the wine waiter suggested a top class wine that went superbly with our meals. Service was really friendly and would recommend to everyone if you have the money to giving it a try.

5/ 5

Had the absolute joy of the signature menu at The Miller of Mansfield last night with my girlfriend, who is vegan. We both shared the majority of the dishes on our individual menus with mine deviating to include a fish course and omnivorous main. The overall experience exceeded all expectations with thoughtful touches and details. The personable service was fantastic; we were made to feel very much at home as the waiting staff guided us through the courses' ingredients and accompanying wines. Already plotting special occasions for another visit.
