Nice place, but £5 for a half is crazy money. I'll go somewhere else next time. RE response: thank you for your response - unfortunately I was indeed charged £5, last Saturday night, for half a Camden IPA. You should find out who is responsible & establish how such a mistake could be made, and whether or not the difference was pocketed. I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for a nice place, but I am sure anyone would after being overcharged for a beer!

Warm welcoming, friendly, supportive and forward looking pub and team. Great drinks and products on offer always improving the range and options. The perfect community pub. Serves the LGBTQ+ community and allies brilliantly whilst being just as open and welcoming to any one who happens stumble upon it. If your in Oxford and want a drink and great conversation call in and see what it’s all about - you won’t be disappointed

my favourite pub! The staff are super friendly and will stop and have a conversation with you (which makes you feel really welcome 🥰) - there is a wide selection of alcohol and there is always a guest beer on which normally supports a local or independent brewery! The pub dog, Sherlock will always make your day if he makes an appearance and the pub just generally has a warm and wonderful atmosphere with a diverse range of people!

Quirky and interesting venue. Friendly and welcoming management, bar staff that really do serve the customer and know what they are doing (in Oxford a luxury). Clientele really mixed, which adds to quite a community feel.
