As a Canadian boy in an unfamiliar territory, these guys kept on taxing me on tea, stamps, and all that, so my American brothers had a little talk with them, safe to say that the Brits aint trying that one again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Year 6 Parents’ Evening. Nice to see a school focus on traditional values which allow teachers to teach and pupils to learn. Great to hear from the Headmaster banning mobile phones!

This school is one of the best schools you could go to in the borough, possibly even in the whole of London, especially since this is a public school. From my time at the school I have found they push you to be the very best individual you could possibly be. The school does not let any student fall behind, and if a student starts lacking the school finds new ways to try and motivate you. The school has helped me to achieve so much and has helped me pursue my dream to be a doctor. This school is a definite recommend if you want your child to be pushed to the best of their abilities, helped to achieve their dreams and to be in an atmosphere which promotes intelligence, individuality and all aspirations. I can say that if i had not gone to this school I would not be the person I am today, achieving the grades I am today.

This school is Outstanding. The teachers put in the hard graft they do a fantastic job with the children. Hats off to them for their hard work. Yes they discipline the children but clearly the results of the school speak for themselves. People will moan about the school being strict but you cant please everyone. I would rather send my kids to a school where there is discipline then a school where nobody cares. Where teachers stand in front of a class and kids are on their phones and not paying any attention and have no respect for their elders. The Head teacher is a great man as is Mr Gill. They are both hardworking, committed and enthusiastic individuals who truly want the kids to excel. They don't cut corners and give the children so much support in terms of opportunities for entry to the real world. My sons Isaac (9Banks) and Zain (7 Turner) have nothing but positive things to say about their experiences so far. They come home laughing and joking and they are truly happy and content kids. I feel that they are being offered the best schooling experience, perhaps even better then the Grammar and Private schools that I have visited. Thank you to all the teaching staff for being positive role models. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Owe a debt of gratitude for the teachers who have helped me succeed in my subjects. Teaching is generally good and as someone from a private education it was not difficult to adapt to once I had enrolled. However, the school overall needs to look at converting to an academy in order to better its efficiency and some of its funding issues. Don't get me wrong it has been fine studying in its environment but compared to other borough schools who have undergone the process, it stacks up somewhat lacklustre. The uniform issue commonly reported here is somewhat of a common platitude which can cause frustration amongst those who do usually adhere to the principles..

Definitely the best school that anyone could ever get accepted to!!!! I am starting my first year so Year 7 and i am already loving it!!! All the teachers are super nice and caring. Most of my friends wanted to go to this school but it was really hard to accept them because so many people were applying to Heathlands. The students there are really helpful and well mannered. You can always rely on the teacher no matter how hard the situation is. I am looking forward to the rest of my school years. Definitely a school worth applying for!!!!

The school is not very good. They are some good teachers but most of them are rubbish. I was a student at this school and they were saying we are the best school and all that nonsense. But they only push the students who are already clever and not the students that need help. They always talk about uniform and how it should always be tidy, while I agree with this and they are right but they enforce it too much, over the learning part, as in uniform comes first over education which is nonsense. They also have this thing called gifted and talented which only the "clever" students can go to which is nonsense because everyone in gifted and talented in a way. The supply teachers that come in are not very good as they don't teach you anything and just read from a textbook and waste our time. Another bad thing about this school is that they do not give you much praise when you do something good, however are extremely quick to sanction you if you are not in or late as they write letters to your house on the smallest things and don't pick up on the good things you do. Finally they always talk about how their students go off to Oxford and other high end universities, while this is very good but they forget about students who want to go and do an apprenticeship what happened to them? They do this to keep a good reputation and that's it and frankly they don't live up to that reputation. Overall this school is bad in every way and I regret going to this school.
