This is a very nice gym. It’s big and everything works. However, I wish there were more classes with a proper room! Some of the PT are really good and really friendly. Also, it’s quite cheap!

This is a great gym in terms of the equipment. However, there are a couple of gripes concerning the way they work. Firstly, there are loads of staff, but they only do private classes and personal training. There is nobody on hand to ask questions about general training or to check if people are training in a way that is dangerous. I've seen people doing things that could be considered dangerous and also very irritating for other members (i.e. the guys who think it's cool to make noise when they drop heavy weights to their sides when on benches, even though it's busy and people are stood next to them). But the staff just walk past oblivious. I think it would be good to have at least one or two staff members who keep a check on the gym and look like they actually care. Secondly, there is no way to cancel your membership in the members area, and you have to go to your bank and cancel the direct debit. If it's a foreign account, you have to cancel the recurring payment, which not all banks will do. So I then had to order a new card to block the one the GYM is claiming from. This is ridiculous, and I don't see why they can't do it from their end. So, all in all, fantastic gym for facilities and range of equipment, but terrible in terms of access to staff and the membership system.

We visited Brighton for a few days and wanted to do a day pass gym session 💪 this gym was offering 3 days for free 😀 sessions which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this gym it was so friendly and welcoming and staff were very helpful. Lots of equipment over 2 levels and super clean. 2/ 5

Update 16/06/21 Unfortunately as predicted current lockdown extended for another 4 weeks, yet sad to witness increasing number of fellow gym users still not bothering to follow basic precautions, mask & clean, to cut down infection rate ... Perhaps they rely on vaccination saturation to mitigate the dreaded disease, however worse case scenario; increased infection will increase vigorous opportunities (yes, plural!) for virus to mutate, possibly overtake our current vaccine, thus repeat of 2020 ... Therefore it's imperatively crucial for EVERYONE to act responsibly, and gym mgmt to "encourage" such members to think of others ... Great gyms are back reopened, however worrying and concerning, certain users are ignoring both government as well as the gyms own repeated requests to follow cv19 guidelines especially mask wearing and social distancing. It's difficult for staff to monitor such subjective behaviours, infact it should be a concerted national civil duty by all users together to endeavour to keep each other safe, rather than always attempting to try and meander civil protocols, otherwise we must not moan when our freedom is curtailed again by further lockdowns, which actually is miniscule compared to others whose career may be lost, or worse, mourning deaths, all possibly caused by those irresponsible actions in the gyms. It's not "cool" to push CV19 advices and guidelines when it may, and can cause serious health concerns and possibly deaths.

No Comments. Not what I expected. Its not getting me healthy when I have got a email making a allegation. Then analysing clients that are some of the anti social Louts down at Black Rock end with their cars. I do speak the hard truth. That's just to bad. I will never consider going near now and do I worry about any backlash from my honesty. I feel really sorry for the people I made friends with. That really hurts me.

Wow. What an awful, soulless place. I popped in here today to check it out and immediately just felt the total lack of atmosphere. Strip lights, white walls, dirt on the walls, ceilings and machines. Ugh. In the changing rooms, there's no hairdryer and whilst I could change the temperature of the shower (a big draw given at my gym I can't) there's no little shelf to put my stuff and the shower points straight down so I was having to lean against the wall to get clean. I saw one staff member who showed me the changing room and then disappeared, never to be seen again. Oh and the keypad entry machines are just like going into prison. Yay! Well done The Gym.
