We only stopped here en route because the Good Pub Guide recommended it as a pub close to a motorway junction. We only wanted a snack and this was a restaurant rather than a pub. Food was good but pricey. We should have done a bit more research!

Well, it's Bray so it's going to be pricey... Amazed still how much higher than London prices they can charge though! Food was great, kids' burger was tiny (would probably suit a 5-6 year old rather than anyone bigger), service was attentive and friendly.

Sitting in a tent in the garden may be alright in the summer but not in the middle of winter… no matter how lovely the food or service is… sitting with your winter coat on & having freezing cold feet does tend to make it a memorable occasion but for the wrong reason… I may return but it will definitely be when the weather warms up..
