Big “thank you” to Martin and George for the excellent service and very helpful advice. I would recommend these guys for anything bike related. Not only do they know their stuff, but they have an uncanny knack of knowing just what is right for you ! Their help was invaluable to me in buying my first bike in a long, long time. I’m absolutely delighted with it and thanks to them I’ve got the bug and love biking! Bike shed Cardiff = The Best.

Good work but very very very slow. Can't book in repairs, which is bizarre already. You have to drop off your bike and pray it gets done in a reasonable amount of time. You'll probably be told "oh it'll be two days". Then you won't have heard anything a week later and call to find they haven't even looked at it yet. Or that it's done but they hadn't bothered to call you. Never had anything finished on time here. Don't use them if you rely on your bike on a daily basis. The work itself can't be faulted, so can't give one star.

Can''t recommend the team at The Bike Shed highly enough. I went round the main shops in Cardiff as good service matters to me a lot: some were poor, some were very good but The Bike Shed was consistently outstanding. A big thank you in particular to John and Richard, both of whom understand that great service is about listening, being honest and going the extra mile. If you are looking for a shop that has friendly knowledgeable staff, a shop with a can do attitude and a passion for excellence, look no further.

Just got my new bike this weekend and I am absolutely over the moon with it! Simply awesome! Richard was amazing - his knowledge of all the bikes on the market is encyclopedic. I thought I knew which bike I wanted. He said that it was a brilliant bike but that the type of riding I do would suit a different make and model. He the preceded to spend a month trying to source one. All set up for me and ready to go. I hit the single track last night and it performs way beyond what I could have hoped for. Sooo pleased! Thank you Bike Shed, you guys are awesome!

Great selection of bikes and bike accessories. If they don't have what you are looking for, speak to the very friendly staff and they will be able to give you advise in terms of a comparable or even order you what you are looking for. I get my bike serviced there twice a year (I used my bike daily so it gets lots of wear and tear) and it always comes back better than expected. Price is fair considering the level of expertise and care they give you.

I was cycling near the shop when I noticed there was some rattling away on my bike, I was just about to ride to Monmouth so this was a bit of downer, so I walked in and asked if they could help. Five minutes later I was on my way ( no charge !!) and a couple of hours later drinking a coffee in Monmouth. I have been back to shop to buy some bits and bobs I need as a way of thanking the guys for helping out that day. Thank you again you made my day.

Pulled in mid-ride due to a mechanical. Didn't catch his name but the guy was so lovely and helpful, and got me back out on the road in no time! Will be giving the bike shed my custom when its time for a service! :)

Very good customer service

The Bike Shed helped me out at short notice after discovery of a puncture last minute before a short trip away. Really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Having been to other bike stores in Cardiff that try to sell you a bike the instant you walk in, I would strongly recommend the Bike Shed for their impartial approach and enthusiasm 👍

Popped in to pick up some bontrager bar tape for my Trek roadie. Gentleman working there was extremely helpful. Will definitely be my port of call for parts in the future, and possibly a new bike.
