Great atmosphere! So warm and cozy and welcoming! The sharing platter and even more so, the house red wine deal were incredible value for money! Hazelnut desert was supreme! Maple mushrooms were amazing. Cauliflower wings were to die for. Can't wait to revisit!

Took us a little while to find as it's a side street you can easily miss, but well worth finding. Smallish menu but with a great variety to choose from. We did small plates to share which is a great way to sample a range of things and get a feel for how consistent/good the food is. Cauliflower wings & miso mushrooms are really good, as are the tacos. Keen to go back and try the mains.

We're not Vegan but always interested in finding new restaurants and exploring alternative menus. The Allotment was a lovely environment and served excellent food. We went at lunchtime and took advantage of their special offer which was great value. Certainly recommend.

Outstanding food. I've been vegan for six years so like to think I know the difference between good and bad. The restaurant itself is modern, minimal (therefore tidy) and clean. The staff all seemed quite young and fun; maybe at that point in life where the world still seems great... Though I'm not old (33), it reminded me of being back at Uni. What I'm trying to say is: It had a good vibe. Bellissimo! Contrary to some of the other reviews, our food couldn't have come any quicker. I was impressed by their speed of service. We were in there for just over an hour and had three courses, which by the way, is a steal at £25 per person. We didn't feel rushed either. Speedy hot food. Cauliflower wings were great, my roast dinner was phenomenal (especially the gravy) and the sticky toffee pudding was also top drawer. Now the positives are out the way: Christmas music before December... ;)

Ordered a roast cauliflower and courgette salad which was nice but I was expecting it to be hot. It was nice it was from the large plate selection and it was too much for me to finish off, if it had been hot I might have managed it. Staff were friendly setting was nice

We came here on the weekend and ordered two three course menus for £25 each. A jug of water and two glasses were provided. Waiters were nice and professional. - starter, cauliflower chicken wing, very tasty by themselves and excellent with the spicy buffalo dip. The best cauliflower wings I've had - starter, satay tofu skewers, nice texture and good taste. Dunk them in satay sauce, then roll them in coriander and peanut crumbs - main, roast with aubergine "steak". A nice selection of red cabbage, parsnips, roast potatoes, chunky roast carrot, gravy, and a bit of aubergine. I'd have like more aubergine with this as it was tasty but very thin and small! - main, laksah soup with rice. Sweet and spicy, a nice dish. Missing the usual wooden soup spoon to help you finish off the soup though. - desert, hazelnut caramel pieces. nice, great presentation. - desert, ginger lemon sorbet with something I've forgotten. Overall pretty nice, but I'd have liked more aubergine for example.
