Door fitted when I was at work (which was offered and worked great for me) and Duncan came later to give the keys and explain how to use it. So happy with result. Very helpful, friendly response to my initial enquiry and I didn't wait long for a visit to assess the situation. Despite my fears that my old garage door would have to be replaced it was quickly and efficiently repaired. There was no attempt to persuade me to buy a new door and I was told that the current door could last for years. Since the repair the door opens and closes more smoothly than previously and I was given a demonstration of how to maintain the smooth running of the door in future. Outstanding service throughout.

David M Last Week I rang up TGD, arranged an appointment, a guy called Alex arrived (on time and had previously telephoned to confirm I was at home) and he repaired our garage door in half an hour - absolutely great. He was professional, courteous and helpful. Would definitely use again and happily recommend.

Following my last minute request Duncan arrived earlier than we had planned originally. He checked the door, explained what needed to be done, gave me a quote and advised me to take the time I needed to think about it. I did not have to think as wanted the job done asap and Duncan told me he could do it then. I was really happy as was only off work on that day. Duncan has done a great job in less then 2 hours, advise me what to do to maintain the door and was happy to answer any other questions politely. Best service ever, thank you!

We were very happy with Alex and Duncan for the superb service they provided. They helped us finding the right door type by being very patient and listening carefully to our needs. In the end, they built in our door with great craftsmanship. They even provided us with more inches on either side through considerate placement of the frame, which makes parking our car much easier now. All in all, Duncan and Alex are very reliable whenever you need a new garage door.
