What a social distancing nightmare this shop is. No clear policy to ensure that customers maintain social distancing regulations whilst doing their shopping. Customers brushing shoulders at less than one metres, no direction arrows or anything. This is the first supermarket I have been to since lockdown and to be honest it was a dreadful experience. There is a hand sanitisation station as you enter the shop and protective screens for counter staff but that's about it. This is a busy store but it certainly does not seem to be looking after the well being of its customers.

2/ 5

The managers imposed "rules" don't make sense and are not sign posted on the outside of the store (some are though being fair). Witnessed the poor guy outside stop 2 people from the same household going in, yet literally a minute later 2 people who went in together get on their bikes in front of them to which he responded "they went in while I wasn't looking", absolute gold! As others have said the place seems more restrictive than ever due to promotion stands and poor layout (stock seems to be thrown in as well). The till area is by far the biggest shambles in the store. The staff literally have to grind against each other to get by and help out customers so social distancing is well and truly dead for those poor chaps! They also make customers queue along the fence rather than the wall of the store which means in busy times people queue well onto the path and down the street meaning passing pedestrians are more exposed. I think the current manager needs to have a good hard look at what he is running and change it so it can work, if not step down and let someone competent run the store.
