Waitrose & Partners york

Very pleasantly surprised - most certainly not the cheapest but not as expensive as i had been led to believe and bargains can be had if you take the time to look. The overall quality of the food - meat, cheese, veg and fruits for example - is well above average. The range of products on offer is varied and large - well worth taking a look.

A nicely sized local supermarket with a good selection of high quality food and drink. Something for everyone.

Not impressed. Their "essential Waitrose 4 Frozen British chicken breast steaks" are actually cheaper from Ocado. I tried to speak to them about this but they were very unhelpful and rude.

Great places people should try it meat and fish counters are fantastic. Best selection of fish in York take orders and 20% off on Friday with my waitrose card. The meat counter butterfly legs of lamb for BBQ. Wagyu burgers taste great. Now all winter cuts in ox tails, bone in shin of beef, feather steak, veal osso buco carves liver, veal bavett forerib of beef.

Cheaper than people say nice products

I love shopping at Waitrose, it's quite a treat as we don't live near one but I was very surprised & disappointed to see so many empty shelves & freezers. What I could buy I am happy with though.

This store is not suitable for severely disabled or less able persons. The parking time allocated is not enough for people with limited ability. The parking company they employ practice open Disability Discrimination and will intimate and fine anybody who parks over the parking time this site is for able bodied people only,

Smallish Waitrose with the normal selection

Very good range of fresh fruit and veg. And th only place I can get one my gluten free items. However I'm not a fan of the people that sit for the charity boxes. They somehow feel a bit pressurey as they are so close.

Great store. Only place that sells my favourite bread. Staff seem happy. Great location
