I've been coming to Tampopo since 2001. I really love the layout of this restaurant with the long benches and the light, clean feel. The food has always been topnotch, no matter what I've tried. The staff are always, friendly, helpful and chatty. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Manchester.

I really like its menu, it has a great variety of choices, not just restricted to one particular Asian cuisine, you can order Thai, Japanese, Chinese whatever you fancy. That’s the reason it attracted to us trying Tampopo out. While the food and service is quite good, it’s actually not too bad at all, however this restaurant is really small and tables are all long benches, so everyone has to sit together, it could be quite crowded, I was actually sitting right next to a stranger without a seat apart, which is not very nice.
