Sydenham House Group Practice hull

Whilst I’ve written good things about this surgery in the past and been more than happy I’m currently at home (Friday) with tablets that run out on Sunday put my request through to get them again nice and early on Monday morning as it takes 72 hours for a doctors to sign (yes sign that little bit at the bottom) tablets never get put on repeat even though been taking them for years and my pain specialist at hospital told me never just stop taking them as it can be dangerous. I can see on my online account Doctors and receptionist have seen my request more than once but have been completely ignored no phone call no explanation not anything so I have from Sunday evening onwards with out them it’s disgusting and of course you can’t get an appointment don’t be ridiculous I’ve actually lost the will to go in or ring and keep going on I’m actually tired of having the fight with them it’s like a never ending nightmare but of course they can go home and get on with life I have to be in pain constantly and just live with it

Well, they gave me an appointment. I went there and was told: the nurse is not in, sorry. But we tried to contact you. (no missed call, no message received); Next day they sent me a message: You did not appear at your appointment. next time you cannot come please call us. Called them. "Your call is important to us, please hold..."

Doesnt even deserve to be rated...very unhelpful dr who was more bothered about why id moved to hull than about my kids health...changing drs asap

Really, just don't bother trying here if you need a doctor, your fine if you don't need medical help, is so easy not to go. But if your Ill,. It's easier and much less hassle to simply die.

Terrible.No reccomend.I need change my doctor.4 years they can not help ma doughter,just doctor give lactoza all the time,they not want to make any test

If I could give less I would. I've just spent 1 hour 37 minutes on the phone trying to get an appointment for a relative. Finally, a woman answered, put me on hold.. 10 minutes later I got hung up on. Absolutely disgraceful. I am fuming. What a useless doctors that a receptionist can't even get through 20 people on the phone in less than an hour. Full staff need retraining. Disgusting!

If you finally get to see a doctor they can be great with you but the reception staff are disgusting disgraceful treatment of patients. Took my 10 days old baby a couple of years back after seeing midwife upstairs for routine appointment and need treatment for his mouth when we went to reception to get to see a doctor was refused because they had not done his registration yet!!! 10DAYS OLD NEEDING TREATMENT MOTHER HAD A C SECTION AND WAS TOLD TO WALK IN TO HULL CENTRE FOR POP IN DOCTORS. I myself have found a lump, I work and can not stay in the phone in a morning in a queue I called after work to make an appointment and explained I have a lump that need looking at again I was treated rudely and asked to call in a morning after explaining I can’t was told well all appointments gone that’s what you got to do!!! I warn this surgery if this lump turns to be anything underlying that is left because of your negligence rudeness and arrogance there will be further legal consequences!!! Overall doctors when seen could not do enough for me but reception staff need seeing and speaking to and policies need addressing immediately!!

Just cannot get an appointment if you work, have to ring at 8am to try to get appointment, if you can't take time off work to ring, tuff you ain't seeing no doctor. Receptionists are so rude, blunt and ignorant, manners cost nothing. Would not recommend at all, I'm now changing doctors as I have an issue with the medication I'm on and I can't get to see a doctor to discuss and I can't get time off work to ring up.

Terrible I been registered for up to years and half never see even this place I ring this morning for my little boys told me not appointment go to walks centre never back again

Avoid this place and the rest of the gp's under the same roof. Once in one of these you can't change to other surgery under the same roof. These have really bad attitude and took all medication of my friend who is very poorly. The doctors, nurses and receptionists are very poor and not understand towards my friend who has major difficulty in explaining things so they decided to take her off all medication please avoid. If i could give zero rating i would
