Never have I dealt with such incompetence, not just once but twice different conveyancing solicitors were unable to get even the introduction details correct nor on time! First time not only was the property we were buying incorrect but also my NAME very basic information! Their pricing structure is deceptive and neither time could they get the pricing to match the original quotation always adding extras previously already included in the quote. On calling to complain a director of the company sealed their fate.. never have I been talked to as a client in such a rude, demeaning and arrogant manner, even having the phone put down on me- no interest in discussing the problems simply trivializing what is important to us as the clients ignoring how important it is to us that timescales are kept to and how making false promises undermines the already doubted confidence we had in the firm. Needless to say I terminated my involvement with them immediately and have sought representation elsewhere. I only hope The estate agent who introduced us to this firm take heed and assess the suitability to handle their clients as the reflection has not been good on them either. My advise look around there’s better firms more helpful and certainly more on the ball and at a lesser fee. Which they are able to charge correctly... The only interested and helpful person I dealt with was Elaine the receptionist.. full credit to her she persevered to find me senior people to complain to..

I cannot reccomened this firm enough.! I was reccomened this firm by another solicitor and also The Courts of Protection themselves. I needed help urgently and representation for my elderly gran with dimentia, who was taken into a care home against her will. I contacted the switalskis firm in Leeds and i was allocated a solicitor from the York Switalskis branch called Nichola Burridge-Todd. I cannot praise this lady enough! Absolute AMAZING solicitor who is extremely knowledgeable and makes the vunerables voice more than heard. Thanks to this amazing lady my gran was brought back home very shortly after her taking on the case. Nichola's response is rapid and her defence for the vunerable is to an exceptional standard! Nichola was most certainly not afraid of a challenge and is determined to stand up the vunerables rights and make their voice heard! Massive thankyou to the team. 10/10. Very quick in response, paperwork, representation and the procedures. If your looking for a very knowledgeable, fiery solicitor who also has a very experienced senior barrister to hand, then Switalskis is definately the ones you need. They make sure the vunerables rights are stood up and their voice is more than heard. Thankyou so so much. Amazing experience and I now understand why I was reccomened this firm!
