Sunshine Books, Art & Coffee brighton

Friendly place with outdoor seating, selection of books and art for sale and inexpensive lunch menu. Bright and cheerful with tables, chairs and sofas. Gets busy at lunchtimes. Not an evening venue. Food is quite good.

Lovely to be surrounded by such good art. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the coffee and cake delicious. Quick service, dog friendly. Always enjoy a visit there.

Saturday morning relaxing with a BLT & mug of tea. Lovely atmosphere & food quality excellent. Recommend

The combination of great local art and great, simple food with adorable staff

After reading so many good reviews I decided to go there with my partner. First impressions was good, the food is average. I didn’t feel looked after, they didn’t care if the food was god or not. The place smells dog’s treats. Soulless atmosphere.

Not as good as expected after reading the reviews. I have tried hard to like this place but i just cannot, not ambiance, and average coffee and food served overall. The service is quite unwelcoming and don't think I will rush back here, there are better options within the area
