One of the main issues I have with this course is it's not well signed - oh and dog walkers don't stick to the yellow brick road so randomly stepping into fox poo is the least of your worries - its not well policed. That all said the course has good drainage and decent doglegs ideal to practice those fades and draws - ground can get very hard quickly so bump and run...as most holes are like valleys use the banks to your advantage. last not least don't be afraid of the bunkers - follow through and finish swing at least chest high.

I and wife went to the golf restaurant today for a lunch. Right from ordering the food the experience was pathetic. The bar guy who took our order didn’t knew the contents of the food and was not hospitable to us. The food came timely but it was very oily. Neither the serving lady nor the bar guy had the basic courtesy to enquire about anything we need. Also, we felt as if the restaurant folks wanted us to leave ASAP. Bad experience overall and will not visiting again.

Brilliant golf course, play my best everytime i play there, i drive miles to get there but well worth it , buggys are top notch with all the mod cons on it ,excellent prices ,people moan about this coarse obviously cant play golf if i was you il stick to your par 3 coarses lol .no.1 coarse for me handicap (8).

When I initially rang the pro shop to book a tee time and the deal for a 2 ball with a buggy was £20 each, I was a little sceptical. The guy on the end of the phone was very helpful, which in truth is quite unusual for a good course. Cynical I know but past experiences have proven me correct. The greens were good, and the course is a great layout, however the bunkers have no sand in them, hardly any rakes, which aren’t really needed anyway. The teeing areas are possibly the worst I’ve ever come across. This course has tons of potential as like I said, it’s a great layout. It’s obviously fallen on hard times.

Hard to give an accurate interpretation of the golf club as i only went there to have my covid vaccination. Staff were friendly and from a distance the grass looked well kept on the fairway. Loses one star because I had the pfzer jab and was in the minority and felt segregated :( Thanks.

So slow! Unfortunately went out on a society day! Wish I'd gone somewhere else. Played as a solo but had a 3 ball in front of me intent of not letting me through even with clear holes. There were loads in the society which completely backed up the whole course,even with starting on the 10th. Why do courses have to be so greedy and try to ram as many golfers on one course. Not enjoyable and I will not return.

They have spent a lot of money on a great new bar and good pro shop. Yet the course is in desperate need of attention. Fairways are poor and the greens extremely slow. Bunkers are either GUR with little sand and overgrown, it looks like they are trying to abandon them. The first needs time to bed in. Shame it is a good layout but being let go. On the positive side I went round in level par and got a hole in one on the 11th.

Had my second vaccine here. Very open, airy, and no queues. Parking no problem, right outside.

18 lovely holes , all with character , But a convoluted track which doesn't let your game flow , which spoils the enjoyment , greens and fairways well kept And a good speed . Nice bar and friendly staff .
