What an absolutely lovely pub. This is just what Greene King should be doing across a good few of their others. The Stag is well-run with brilliant staff. The decor is really tasteful with plenty of seating. The food menu is fantastic with especially good burgers. Great range of beers too.

Well it was busy in run up to Christmas and the food choices are very limited to a mac D style. The

Well it was busy in run up to Christmas and the food choices are very limited to a mac D style. The limited staff did work hard yet remain calm. It's OK inside but not a lot of character. Reasonable drinks range.

Dog friendly, amazing food, excellent staff, well priced, fantastic building on Ascot high street, outdoor heated seating or indoor, great for individuals and groups... I couldn't fault this place if I wanted to. Thanks for having us for lunch, hopefully see you again soon!
